This article is meant to assist workspace admins with setting up the GoLinks Rippling SSO Integration. This feature is only available on our enterprise plans. Please contact our sales team if you are interested in SSO and the other features that come with an enterprise account.
Where to set up Rippling SSO
In order to set up your Rippling SSO, you will need to be an admin of your workspace. If you are not an admin, please contact one so they can set this up for your team. In order to set up your team’s SSO, you will need to head to your team’s workspace settings. This can be found by using the drop down menu by your profile picture. Once to the workspace settings, select the Single Sign-On option on the left column. Once here, scroll down to Rippling and select Configure. You can also find GoLinks in the Rippling app directory.
How to set up your Rippling SSO
Now that you have opened the configuration widow, you can start the setup process. The process is fairly simple and easy to follow along with.
Enable Rippling for your team
Checking this box will allow for your team to use Rippling SSO as a sign-on option for GoLinks. You can easily come back and uncheck this box if your team stops using Rippling SSO.
Identity Provider Metadata
From your Rippling account, you will need to copy and paste your team’s metadata. This will allow for seamless synching between Rippling and GoLinks for your team. Look for the section labeled iDP Metadata on your Rippling account, this is the data you will need to paste into the text box.
Create users accounts as they sign-in
Another seamless sync is the automatic creation of team members accounts as they sign-in. This option cannot be turned off.
Configuration
With the checkbox under configuration, you can force team members to only use Rippling to sign into their accounts. If you have more than one SSO enabled, this will make it so all users are forced through Rippling and won’t be able to use those other SSO options to sign on.
