In today’s ever-evolving landscape, technology plays a pivotal role in shaping how we work.
Companies across the globe are seeking ways to utilize digital tools to work smarter and grow faster.
That’s why JNUC 2023 had a whopping 3,000 registrants and 150 sessions! IT professionals were ready to explore recent trends and discover technology to help them manage and secure their workforce.
This year, GoLinks was thrilled to be a sponsor at JNUC 2023 and host a spotlight session centered around the tool everyone is talking about — generative AI.
JNUC 2023 Top Takeaways
If you attended the annual Jamf Nation user conference, you probably saw some major themes. How to secure an Apple experience was, of course, an overarching topic. But there also was a focus on doing more with less.
With today’s challenging business landscape, John Strosahl CEO at Jamf, shared, “We’re challenged to do more with less….” Here are some of the additional takeaways from JNUC 2023:
Companies need more thoughtful workflows
During the kickoff keynote session at JNUC, everyone got an exclusive look at the future of infotech — and *spoiler alert* Jamf Pro 11 will be available in October! Sam Johnson, Chief Customer Officer at Jamf, also dove into how IT AND InfoSec teams can achieve better organizational outcomes through thoughtful workflows.
“Jamf is here to help you simplify work,” he shared. And this stood out as a key theme throughout the conference.
You should be automating employee experiences
One key strategy to simplify workflows is to use automation. In a Wednesday session with Workato, automation was the focus. “Ingregrate Anything. Automate Everything.” Shyam Bhojwani, Director of Business Technology and Cyber Security Ops at Workato, gave several use cases highlighting automation’s benefits for IT professionals.
Jesse Levin, CEO at BetterCloud, also focused his session on automations, sharing tips on how IT readers can automate manual processes, eliminate tedious tasks, and save hundreds of hours.
You can reduce overwhelm & burnout with technology
In a recent survey by Deloitte, they found that 77% of respondents experienced burnout at their current job, with 40% citing the main cause as an overwhelming workload.
This is an ongoing problem, especially with the recent layoffs causing the remaining employees to pick up the slack and increase their workloads. During the “From Burnout to Balance” session with Lysette Bull, Sr. Community Engagement & Advocacy Specialist at JAMF, this problem was explored.
The solution? The right technology.
Lysette shared, “By providing these things [access to the right tools], you’re helping balance their day-to-day well-being in their workplace.” It’s all about finding the right tools for the right moment and making those accessible.
Now is the best time to invest in AI
During our very own spotlight session at JNUC, GoLinks CEO Jorge Zamora focused on the power of generative AI — another tool to help IT professionals simplify workflows, automate workflows, and reduce employee overwhelm.
According to Adobe, 15% of enterprises are using AI, and 31% say it’s their agenda for the next 12 months. This technology is growing in popularity. So to stay ahead of the curve, now is a great time to start looking into AI for your org.
